Who We Are

The American Academy of Infection Control & Prevention (AAICP) is a global professional organization dedicated to advancing excellence in infection prevention and control through rigorous research, education, and evidence-based practice.

 

With over 45,000 members worldwide, AAICP represents a diverse and influential community that includes leaders in scientific research, frontline clinical experts, pioneers in public health, and Nobel laureates whose work has shaped modern approaches to infectious disease prevention and patient safety.

Our mission is to support healthcare and public health professionals by providing high-quality academic resources, timely scientific updates, and expert-led publications that translate research into practice.
